Development & Test Engineer Development and implementation of automated test methods
Job description
You will develop test methods with a high degree of standardization and automation for our engine test benches making a significant contribution to the expansion of our test portfolio. Another part of your tasks will be the practical application, analysis, interpretation, documentation and presentation of the results within projects.
The focus of the work is to establish test methods with a high number of measuring points to achieve a corresponding repeatability. A high degree of automation should reduce the necessary test times and support the test bench operation for complex test tasks. The integration of statistical methods into the evaluation process of the measurement data can improve the quality of the results in many cases. Application cases come from the field of evaluation of lubricating oils, sensors, engine components, new fuels, exhaust gas aftertreatment, system components, etc.
You will be working within a team of highly dedicated and experienced employees who will provide you with the best support during your introduction and familiarization with the complex test bench technology.
