Dear partners, colleagues and friends,
as the year comes to a close, we are delighted to reflect on many inspiring achievements. Our COMET activities have made excellent progress, with significant advancements in both the LEC GETS-Green Energy and Transportation Systems program and the LEC FFF Future Fuel Fundamentals module.
The role of LEC as a trusted partner in numerous international projects for sustainable energy and transport has been further strengthened. We are particularly pleased that a new Christian Doppler Laboratory has been approved, building on the successes of LEC HybTec. The eFuels Award, which was presented to two LEC researchers, underscores our pioneering role in alternative fuels.
2025 was also characterized by a series of notable events, ranging from the CIMAC World Congress in Zurich, where our team presented numerous papers, to the 6th LSSTF in Graz, the 20th SMTP anniversary and the 4th LEC Data Challenge.
These successes reflect the passion and dedication of our team, and emphasize the importance of green large engine technologies for achieving a climate-neutral future.
