HTL Engineer for R&D (m/f/d)

In order to strengthen our continuously growing team in our Test Centre, we are looking for a dedicated employee who is interested in challenging tasks and a varied job in the area of our state-of-the-art engine test benches. You will work on projects in the field of new energy and propulsion systems for applications with high performance requirements. The focus is on the experimental investigation of engines, engine components and entire systems. On the one hand, proven test methods can be used and on the other hand, new test methods tailored to the task are to be developed. In addition, the further development of our test infrastructure is essential. Close cooperation with LEC’s internal competence areas and the project partner ensures efficient communication.

Main tasks

Processing experimental test tasks in close coordination with our national and international project partners
Independent processing of tasks in close coordination with our internal departments (areas)
Documentation and presentation of project results internally and to the project partner
Systematic execution of troubleshooting, analysis and elimination of malfunctions
Setting up, modifying and maintaining test rigs and checking the plausibility of measurement data
Contributing to expanding the test bench measurement technology and the test bench infrastructure
Documentation of conducted working steps

Your skills

Engineer (HTL or comparable) or completed training in the field of mechanical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics,
measurement or electrical engineering
Interested in test systems in the field of future energy and propulsion systems
First work experience
Confident using MS Office packages
Commitment, flexibility and team orientation
Fluent in German and English

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.500,- gross per month on a full-time basis. Willingness to overpay depending on your qualifications and experience.
