Together with internationally active partner companies, the world’s leading research center for sustainable large engines provides important innovative impetus for achieving global climate goals. The LEC leads the way with contributions to the power plant of the future; the former coal-fired power station in Mellach, Styria, which has been converted into a technology and innovation center for hydrogen, as well as with innovative solutions in the transport sector, for example for emission-free ocean shipping.
